38 weeks -spaghetti squash

This week's appt I gained 2 lbs from last week! Lol

Still at 3 cm dilated and 60% effaced so no progress really. Which is kinda disappointing but I haven't felt any Braxton hicks all week or pressure si I guess I can't complain.

Caiden's birthday was on sunday so I think I was holding back. But clearly she is comfy in there.

I have been so hormonal, going from laughing to sobbing in a minute. Which thankfully hasn't been the norm up until recently. I'm not sure the reason.

My next appt is Monday I'm hoping for more progress, but if not I just need to be patient because waiting on a girl apparently starts in the womb! Lol.

36 weeks - cantalope

This week snuck up on me.  I had my 36 week appt today, my Dr said I am 2.5cm and 50 % effaced.  Almost exactly where I was at this stage with connor. It will be interesting to see if she decides to come sooner or later like her big bro.

Everyone is getting more excited to meet this little one. Caiden initially wanted her to come on his birthday as a present. but has since changed his mind and said the 21st would be ok. Connor said he wasn't ready for a sister, but is excited to play with her, and he prays for her almost every night.  Dan can't believe he is going to be a father of 3 kids.

I am so blessed to have made it this far it has been a great pregnancy and I am as anxious as ever to finally meet the little girl I have shared so much with the past 9 months. I am nervous that im due for something to go wrong or need a csection or something but I pray that a it's going to be fine. That's all I can do.

I think total this pregnancy I have gain 28lbs which is good. I really thought I would have continued to workout more with this pregnancy but it was just not in the cards. Taking care of a house and 2 kiddos is more physical work that you expect when you wake up tired and fatigue. Lol So needless to say I am so eager to get back to the gym and go to zumba, piyo and spin again I miss it so much! It had become such a big part of my life in the last year before getting pregnant I found that I am able to reconnect with myself when I am there and get the nessesary "me time" I need to be a better mom. I know it is going to be hard to find the time to work it back into the schedule with 3 kids in tow but I am optimistic because I know I need it.

Between last 2 weeks it was pretty exciting for us!

We had our ultrasound and that went well, it was Dans first appt and the baby was breach so was very easy to see head and watch movements. It was a first for us to be able to see a baby chewing in there, which was pretty funny. We decided not to find out the gender at the us appt and have her put it in an envelope instead.
That week I prepared everything we needed for out gender reveal party and had a friend fill a baseball pinyata for us with either pink or blue candy and confetti.

That Saturday we headed to the concert with cousin Allison and had a great time. I am super astonished at my energy level that night!

Sunday was the day of the big party. We had tons of help setting up from everyone and I am very greatful for that! Dan enjoyed smoking a couple pork butts all day for the event and our food was amazing complete with pulled pork bar, sliders, nachos and tacos with toppings . Cole slaw, and fresh fruit, potato salad and baked beans. To my surprise mt neighbor made a fantastic cake for the party and blew us away. After we all ate we had the kids take a wacky at the pinyata until Dan finally took over and busted open and surprise it's a girl!! Pink shit all over the floor! We had everyone take a vote when they arrived and the majority of people were right. It was a fun but very exhausting day. So glad we had so many if our friends and family were able to come and celebrate this baby with us!!
