Between last 2 weeks it was pretty exciting for us!
We had our ultrasound and that went well, it was Dans first appt and the baby was breach so was very easy to see head and watch movements. It was a first for us to be able to see a baby chewing in there, which was pretty funny. We decided not to find out the gender at the us appt and have her put it in an envelope instead.
That week I prepared everything we needed for out gender reveal party and had a friend fill a baseball pinyata for us with either pink or blue candy and confetti.
That Saturday we headed to the concert with cousin Allison and had a great time. I am super astonished at my energy level that night!
Sunday was the day of the big party. We had tons of help setting up from everyone and I am very greatful for that! Dan enjoyed smoking a couple pork butts all day for the event and our food was amazing complete with pulled pork bar, sliders, nachos and tacos with toppings . Cole slaw, and fresh fruit, potato salad and baked beans. To my surprise mt neighbor made a fantastic cake for the party and blew us away. After we all ate we had the kids take a wacky at the pinyata until Dan finally took over and busted open and surprise it's a girl!! Pink shit all over the floor! We had everyone take a vote when they arrived and the majority of people were right. It was a fun but very exhausting day. So glad we had so many if our friends and family were able to come and celebrate this baby with us!!
